Terms of Service
Last updated: March 11, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Hack Admission, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. The platform is an educational community and marketplace for students, mentors, and applicants interested in U.S. college admissions. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue using our platform.
2. Community Guidelines
To keep our admissions hub safe and productive:
- Respect other members' experiences and journeys.
- No spamming, misleading claims, or fake profiles.
- Constructive discussions only — admissions can be stressful, so keep it supportive.
- Do not share or request illegal services (e.g., fake documents, impersonation).
3. Educational & Mentorship Services
Hack Admission offers access to mentors, guides, and peer-to-peer support. Any advice, tutoring, or services offered by users are provided independently under their own responsibility. We moderate platform conduct and dispute evidence, but we do not guarantee outcomes (including admissions, visas, scholarships, or test scores).
4. User Content & Privacy
You retain ownership of the content you share, but by posting on our platform, you grant Hack Admission a license to display, distribute, and promote your content for community purposes. Sensitive information such as test scores or applications should only be shared at your own discretion. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
5. Payments, Balance & Marketplace Orders
Some features (including statuses and marketplace services) require payment through your platform balance. This balance is a virtual product balance, not a bank deposit account. Buyer payments for marketplace orders are protected by hold/escrow logic until delivery confirmation or dispute review. Payout requests are intended for users who provide educational services through marketplace orders and are processed via available payout methods after individual security and compliance review.
Refund outcomes depend on order state and evidence. Cancellation in allowed order states may return funds to buyer balance; delivered-order disputes are resolved through internal arbitration flow. Platform arbitration is an internal process and not a court proceeding.
6. Termination of Accounts
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Service, disrupt the admissions community, or engage in fraudulent activities.
7. Limitation of Liability
Hack Admissions is a platform for community-driven learning and mentorship. We do not guarantee admission outcomes or the accuracy of external services. All participation is at your own risk.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
